Consultancy services to schools and academies

 

AES provides specialist training and advice that is flexible and tailored to the needs of the school, MAT or organisation.


Some of the services we currently offer to schools and academies include: 

 

  • Leadership and staff coaching and mentoring to raise standards and improve outcomes
  • Strategic development of SEND/Behaviour Management provision and practice: SEND and behaviour policy writing and/or review
  • strategic development of SEND provision and practice: SEND reviews and audit including action plans and priorities
  • opportunities for continuing professional development of SEND and Behaviour Management: Training, support and advice on Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Positive Behaviour Management
  • Training and support for inclusive teaching: meeting the needs of SEND pupils
  • Training and support for effective family engagement – reaching the ‘hard to reach’
  • Training and support on Restorative Approaches: An effective way to reduce behaviour and improve well-being in school
  • Support and identification of pupils at risk of exclusion and support for reintegration of those who have been excluded
  • Strategic curriculum reviews and audit
  • Training and support for governing bodies in their roles and responsibilities regarding SEND
  • Strategic development of stakeholder voices: staff, pupils, parents and partners
  • Staff training on supporting parents of children with special and/or additional needs including attachment, autism and learning disabilities
  • Parent and carer training and development on meeting their needs of their children

AES offers bespoke training and CPD to public, private and third sector organisations, as part of our traded service. We currently deliver the following training courses: 

 

  • Understanding Autism (Level 1 and 2)  (for  parents, other individuals and/or professionals)
  • Train the trainer - leading training at the workplace  (for  professionals)
  • Parent Peer Support (for  parents, other individuals and/or professionals)
  • Coaching and Mentoring at the Workplace  (for  professionals)
  • Supporting parents of children with autism aged 11-16 (for  parents, other individuals and/or professionals)
  • The fundamentals of job searching (for individuals and/or professionals)
